Not lying, how does this compare to some cheap $10 harbor freight 100 piece bit set? I know these supposedly have lifetime warranty but do they actually honor it if they strip out?

Bit quality differences aside, the HF set doesn't come with a $30 packout case: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../305821962

And no, bits are consumable items, they are not warrantable.

Milwaukee says bits NOT covered in the question and answer section.

After checking reviews you might be better off buying 2 of the HF unless you need the packout. Out of 1900 odd reviews there are way over 100 saying the Milwaukee bits break easily. There are also way too many unreliable "seed" reviews where people were given the kit for free.

Well... A pack out case is just Milwaukee's carrying case. HF's bits do come with a case too

Project Farm on YouTube does an impact bit comparison...
I don't remember the details but I think Milwaukee & Harbor Freight were both included.

If you like that you can move on to the Torque Test Channel which won't help you decide bits but it feeds the 🐒 ⚒️ 🧠!

Fair but PF does commend Milwaukee pretty well and this deal DOES drop them down to $0.43 a piece

The HF set has more variety, including some security bits and others not in this set, but no 2" bits. Also, the quality of the HF bits is really bad. I don't have this set, but even with the bad reviews, I doubt if the quality of this set is as bad as the HF. There is a Kobalt 100 pcs set at Lowes that is decent. The bits are not high-end bits, but they at least fit the fasteners they are supposed to, unlike some of the bits in the HF. It has gone on sale for $9.99 in the past, so it might be worth waiting for a sale on that set.
