Buyer beware on these things. I heard horror stories about BSODs with these before i bought but i needed something w specs for work quickly about 2 years ago. So i decided to roll the dice and picked a cyperpower up from best buy at a good price. When it was delivered, one of the case fans wasn't installed properly and there was a transistor loose rolling around in the case which i could never figure out where it fell off from. I tried it anyway and it booted up just fine. Cut to 3 months later and sure enough the BSODs started multiple times per day. It got to the point where i was constantly losing my work because it happened so often. I ended up buying a Lenovo Legion from Costco. Rock solid to this day.

Side note - i hung onto the cyberpower just in case and i about 1 month ago i decided to reinstall the OS and reseatted all perfs. So far so good tbh... but it hasnt hit the 3 month mark yet either. So fingers crossed. Cheers!

I would have return that thing as soon as I hear any parts rolling inside the case. But you can't put a blame on cyberpower since the damage can be caused by shipping or handling in bb warehouse.

Is this a good rig coming from an i5-11600KF 4.5ghz, 2060 6GB and 16 gb of ram or should I just upgrade my processor and grab a 3070ti

Check out this video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ND2HO17f8Lw
You'll see the performance of the CPUs you're comparing is nearly identical when paired with a 3080, and not likely a difference you'll be able to notice in real world use, so it might be best to save your money and just update the GPU.

6700 xt is 20% faster than the RTX 3060

i7-12700 is about 15% faster than the Ryzen 7 5700x

RTX card will provide better performance in professional applications thanks to CUDA. If you're looking for a productivity driven system, the 12c/20t i7 is also going to give you additional performance there as well.

For pure gaming though, the i7 is maybe 5% faster but gaming at a resolution higher than 1080p would negate that difference and the 6700 XT is still miles faster than the 3060 in everything but ray tracing.

Each build has its benefits and both are priced well at $1100

I would be surprised if someone could build this for cheaper, and if it's possible, you will be waiting around a long time for the right deals. I'm gonna give this a thumbs up
