This is greatly exaggerated, and even Rtings shows a very small change. They certainly are not 'nerfed'.

I have had them for about 8 months now and didn't even notice any difference at all. IMO, that thread should not stop you from getting them.

If you're in the Apple ecosystem these are fantastic--they sound amazing, are super comfortable, incredible quality, and work seamlessly across devices. Heck I don't even mind the bra. Very impressed for someone who went in a skeptic.

Keep in mind they've been nerfed. Look up AirPod noise cancellation patent troll. The noise cancelling that was once so good is significantly worse than before with forced software update.
