It is a tad bit heavy at over 5 pounds. Also it is only a 4-cell battery, which is pretty standard.
Stay away from acer. There's a reason why it's been bought and returned by the buyer and then they had to farking refurbish it and try to sell it again. I had a acer laptop I bought new once, never again. Lack of support.
