Someone on a different thread a few weeks ago recommended the Vsett 8, whose base model has a top speed of 26mph and a range of 22-37 miles, which blows most other scooters out of the water, especially at this price. I'm kind of kicking myself now for not waiting a bit longer, but I've had mine for a few weeks now and it's so fun to ride, and the dual suspension means it's not nearly as bumpy as most other scooters I've ridden. I'd highly recommend it even as a beginner commuter scooter. With this sale it's a no-brainer.

Electric Scooters

Vsett 8 15.6Ah - $649
Vsett 8 19.2Ah - $899
Vsett 8+ Dual Motors - $1099
Vsett 9+ 15.6Ah - $1099
Vsett 9+R - $1425
Vsett 10+ 20.8Ah - $1599
Vsett 10+R 28.0Ah - $2390
Segway Ninebot E45 - $399

Electric Unicycles

King Song 16S - $1249
King Song S18 - $1899
King Song 18XL - $1898
King Song S22 - $2899
Begode RS - High Torque - $2149
Begode EX.N - High Speed - $2428
Begode MTen4 - $1089

And more!

Plus as the title says, free 2-year warranty, and some include a free tube or free solid tires installed.

any scooter that is faster than 20 mile per hrs is asking for death. i have a xiami and i dont even go at 20 mile per hrs in nyc screen i cruise at 8 or 9 mle per hrs. at 20 mile speed u cant respond to sudden door being open or pot holes.. i pass on an ez ticket to the er room
You make a good point about safety but I don't agree with your conclusion. Yes, scooters that go faster than 20mph are quite dangerous. That's why I wear a motorcycle helmet and just ordered a set of protective pads to wear. Motorcycles are also dangerous which is why you need to gear up properly. And just because a vehicle has a certain max speed doesn't mean you have to go that max speed. I usually go up to 18-20mph in bike lanes with no one around, around 12mph around other bikers or slower when passing pedestrians, and only go max speed in the daytime on long stretches of uncrowded streets away from other vehicles. Fast vehicles are not for everyone but there are those who can ride them responsibly.

Agree. Thanks for the post. Vsett 8 for this price is a great deal. There is also a code that takes off $50.

RIDE50 I used this. Grabbed the 8 for $640 shipped. As I understand it good deal.

My bearings on my Segway ES3 went last week after about 450 miles, so good timing.

U have to get a vsett 10 to get 10" tires, tire diameter is your best friend when it comes to safety and its fairly common for 10" to be a standard size... im contemplating an apollo, particularly a phantom (top, cost doesnt matter choice) or a hiboy titan as a budget option.

I really want app control, neither have it as standard but there is a $400 v3 upgrade for phantom which gives app control.

For me, with a backpack im over the 220lb threshold of a lot of models so this guides my choice. The apollo city deal seems awesome if your more svelte than i am.

That's a good deal for the 8. I'd be all over this if I didn't already have the KQi3 and Ninebot G30. Must resist getting another scooter...

You guys convinced me! My Gotrax GXL V2 I got last Black Friday, can only go half the charge now. Put solid tires on it a couple months ago...Good God that was hard LOL I hoping the Vsett 8 is much better!

I have a Xiaomi 365 clone (with rear suspension) and I think that dual suspension, more powerful scooter would be a safer option, if I drove on the streets often. How fast to go is up to you.

The real danger of that speed on these scooters , or any scooter, is the small wheels are not made to handle much, and at speeds that can dent a car aluminum 17" wheel... its more than the rim that will dent.
