This is a repost. The deal first came out earlier this week and most locations are now sold out. I snagged one on Monday and picked it up in store on Wednesday. The best chance to have gotten one after the initial sellout was likely Thursday or Friday when they restocked any online orders that were not picked up by Thursday evening.

BTW, the cashier said this was a Black Friday preview sale and there could be more made available later this month for Black Friday itself. So if you can't get one now, they likely will restock them.

I plan on using this drive as a game storage drive. I wouldn't trust it as my boot drive. Also, be aware that this does not include a mounting screw. It is literally just a drive packaged with nothing else almost like it were a memory card. It is labeled with a MSRP of $199, but I highly doubt they ever sell it at that price.

Review for the 1TB version said the speed became really slow when it's over around 50% full. Anyone have experienced this?

Sorry all - SD offered the pic to include - TBH I didn't even look at it, saw an NVMe drive and clicked on it. Updated.

Some stores (mine included) are getting complete restocks. Mine sold out initially then yesterday morning restocked to 25+ again and I got one then. If someone misses out, I'd say just keep checking every morning to see if they got more.

None in any Chicago store, for this price would have picked up 2 for a NAS expansion or a new build as a Steam drive.

Out of stock since wed, went to my local store and sales guy did a bait and switch saying I can gladly get another brand for $179!
