Price: $40 is not a good price for this Insignia with its cheap inner pot, first generation processor and lid. It will work but I pay too much for food to have it overcooked. I bought this very 8 qt when it was $20 for my Instant Pot model comparison two years ago. It wasn't worth saving a few bucks for the struggle using it or the result. Today there are 98 listings on Craigslist near me for genuine Instant Pots with prices starting from $10 many used only once still in the box. Post an item wanted and someone will gift you one. Best models are Duo Evo Plus and Pro. A Duo Plus, Gourmet or a Nova are better than Insignia. Ultra is popular with cooks. Consider a 3 qt if just one or two people. A 6 qt allows you to cook a whole fresh chicken.
