They don't really compare.
These are decent, mind you, but there are a LOT of cuts:
- Sound canceling is significantly worse
- No EQ
- Sound quality is overall lower (similar EQ profile, though)
- They're not as comfortable (less padding, so they also let in more outside noise)
- they don't come with a case at all
- the plastic feels a lot lower quality
On the whole, for THIS price, despite what I've said here, they're fantastic. I recommend them! But they're a far cry from the XM series.
If you're deciding between this and either the XM3/4/5, go with the XM series.
