Wow...
$540 for memory (after tax) I would never imaging spending on. That's because I am a normal Joe with basic necessity.

I just wish the higher performance memory would hurry up because I would like 4x32gb but not at 1k. and 6000 is the memory speed I'm targeting.

Hurry and bring these even lower! I'd happily pay 800 for 128gb @ 6000 !

RAM is not a basic necessity my dude...Let alone high-end ram like this.

With that said, damn...wish I didn't get that 5200 C40 kit, but I'll wait til I can upgrade to 128gb for an at least somewhat reasonable price.

Back in 2018, I paid $630 for 4x16B DDR4 (3000mhz C15) from Corsair.

I think very little of this has to do with necessity. 64 or 128GB RAM is still super edge-case. There are definitely things that can use it all, but for 99% of the people running that much RAM, it's just to say in COD chat how much better their kit is.

After the 5% off for amazon card you are at about $800 for 128gb

CAS is a little higher/lower in some areas but not a difference worth mentioning... i picked up 64gb a week ago from this seller.

Check Newegg and Amazon. They have 2x32 6000 CL32 for $419, and 6400 CL32 for $449. Both G.Skill
