Was looking at the $1K variants at Costco and ultimately pulled the trigger on one for $215 (https://www.ebay.com/itm/284107826327) which arrived in three days.
An exercise bike can greatly help improve your heart health and cardio. From using a cadence meter (80-110 rpm's) to monitoring your resting heart rate. It's really a useful device and this is coming from a guy with three mountain bikes.
Can't see any drawback as long as you have space and inclination to stay healthy. So far, 100+ miles (10 miles per session at least twice a week) in nearly two months. Listen to music, turn on the TV with CC and it really isn't that bad!
