The 10yo circumstance: my mother had MS, in those days no one knew what caused it so nothing could be done to slow it down. She was a quadriplegic for about 3 years at that point and on lots of pain meds. My hippie sibs and cousins all came around and talked her into trying pot instead (probably the right idea). My mom couldn't figure out how to hold it in, so never felt an effect.
I was amazed that my family members showed up looking happy to be there for once, and wanted to be in the circle on this one occasion that wasn't tense.
Didn't realize I was affected, until I stood up.
Scared straight!
I am coming up on my 5 year keto anniversary this year.
I had bad acid reflux and was overweight which led me to change my diet. I lost 77lb and am doing great. February I am going carnivore to do an elimination diet to see if I can figure out some tummy issues I still have. I feel like I am going to miss some things I have most days. olives, pickles, sauerkraut, and homemade kombucha.
Although if you ask....he may prescribe you some, lol. It's legal there.

This is wild, omg....did anyone else realize at the time?
I was chasing my sister around the house and laughing uncontrollably.
I don't want to go too dark, but I'll just say that being out of control around my dad hadn't been a good idea. He was 50 when I was born, 60 at this point and ...tired. My mom's condition meant she needed to be turned several times a night and he never got proper sleep.
He could be unpredicatable with a belt.
I was very fortunate to eventually get good foster parents. No kids in the house seemed to calm him down, too.
And
my foster dad, a pastor, introduced my bio dad to Jesus. I've never seen such a transformation. I was terrified of cars, put off my drivers ed until I was a senior and failed my first DL test. It was my bio dad that worked with me, calmly, so that I passed it the 2nd time. So it was a happy ending.
What are you planing to eat as a carnivore? Literally only meat? And for how long? I saw a girl on tiktok share her carnivore diet and she eats eggs and butter and whole milk as well. The textures are so unsettling to me. I don't know how she can just eat a stick of raw butter lol eta: her handle is @steakandbuttergal and she eats ALOT of butter
Yes I am doing meat only along with butter that I cook something in(salmon) or the animal fat that comes with the meat. I am currently not doing dairy either as I want this to be an elimination diet.
How long? I'm not sure if I will do this one week, one month, or three months. But ideally I need to slowly add stuff back to figure out what my triggers are.
The food is yummy and very satisfying. It isn't very far off from what I normally eat. I do not have cravings right now. When I first started keto my only cravings were beef, salmon and chocolate(which they say is needing magnesium). I typically stick with beef and fish.
What I hear is its hard sticking to keto bc junk food is so accessible/easy.

Did you end up with a Dominoes deal? 6.99 each? Have you already answered these questions in the coming pages?!?!
I dont need the pizza until 3/11. I am planning early.
I need to research the different slices per pie and what I can expect each to feed. I got some coupons in the mail but to me, it looks like the $6.99 deal is likely the best.
