I keep getting these cvs survey emails. for some reason, the ones i am getting do not seem to be legit.
That's what I was concerned about - that it was somebody trying to get into my computer with a scam link.

Turns out, it was legit but I didn't qualify anyway. Maybe I'm too old?

I do get the CVS surveys without any ECBs just about every time my husband shops, even if it's just for a candy bar, lol.

I was tempted to call CVS customer service and ask if they knew if it was legit, but figured folks here would know as much if not more than a CVS rep, lol

Thank you. I'm fine.
Good news. I guess the doctors figured out some way to do the surgery even with your other problems and being on blood thinners.

I was off of Brilinta for 10 days because my colonoscopy was postponed due to my ER trip last Friday. I took Brilinta this morning and I'm having all sorts of problems and thinking about going to the ER. It started off with balance problems and walking into things. Then I started almost passing out and I have a splitting headache. The headache is new. It hasn't happened with the fainting before. Last Friday my heart rate dropped down to 37 and they called a code on me even though I wasn't having any symptoms. I'm sure that my heart rate has to be lower now because I'm definitely having symptoms. There's not much I can do other than not take it again until I talk to my doctor on Monday but if it gets any worse I'll have to go to the ER. This isn't anything new. I've had this since my open-heart surgery in October but this is about as bad as it's been.
Hope things improve. I know how scarry it can feel when one's heart rate gets low, The lowest I've ever caught mine is at 40 bpm and at that point I find it very hard to breath - feels as if I'm not getting enough oxygen although my oxygen saturation has never gone below 88%. My doctor doesn't seem to nave any problem with these numbers when I tell him I experience them and usually replies that some medications I'm on can do this.

When my heart rate went to 37 my oxygen was at 79 and then the machine turned off and started beeping red. I recently had a lung function test and I was at the very top of my age group which makes sense since I've surfed all of my life and I've worked hard on being able to hold my breath. It's weird that when I have one of these attacks I can go from 100 (which is where I'm usually at) to 79 just like that.

Are you an athlete? 40 is really low unless you train or compete in sports.
No, I'm not much of an athlete. My regular heart rate usually runs in the low 60's but one or more of the medicines I take cause it to go low. My oxygen level usually runs in the low 90's due to COPD. (and I have no family history of pulmonary disease nor have I ever smoked, not once; go figure).

I'm ok now. The blood thinner finally wore off. Today was a bad one.

On Monday I'll either see my primary doctor or go to the ER. I'm definitely not taking the blood thinner again.
If none of the prescription blood thinners work for you, have you considered talking to your doctor about natural (food, beverage) blood thinners? Although not ideal, it might be better than nothing at all. Good luck.

It's not the blood thinner. I'm having the same thing happen today that happened yesterday. There's nothing that I'm taking that should be causing this.
Are you talking about brilinta? I just did a quick search and found that it stays in your system for five days so it could still be causing some of your problems even if no longer taking it.
