I have 2. One on each door and have been working fine for 4 years. 4.4 out of 5 with 4,750 reviews says otherwise. Maybe you have a power problem?

Got this last year and it is nice to have the battery back up and the kids use the outside door opener all the time. It is really quiet as it doesn't shake the whole house now like the previous twist drive one we had. I might have paid $89, don't remember. Wish it had an app for opening with the phone.

I had my dad come over for a second pair of hands for install. It's not hard, just the rail is long and a second pair of hands to hold in place is helpful.

As long as the HP is the same it shouldn't be a problem. Having a second person or a second tall ladder helps when installing the rail. The rest is pretty easy.

Thank you so much! I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. I did see a reference to something like that in a post but the author of the post didn't share a lot of detail. He mentioned hitting a program button the unit but I don't recall seeing one. I am assuming that it will be referenced in the videos? Thanks again!

I bought this when it was recently on sale. I am pretty sure it does not work on Genies made after 2016 because Genie moved to a proprietary frequency - I'll be sending mine back.

Have had mine for 3yrs
.It originally sucked becuase it would have trouble connecting to my router.I later found out it was my router that sucked. It almost works flawlessly. Just depends if I have good reception on my phone

I'm glad it's helpful! All three videos reference the program button. On this particular model, there are three buttons on the bottom, two arrows and one square. It's the square one.
