Sometimes people buy them and return fake ones to amazon and you have a minimum wage worker checking it quickly before reselling it

Amazon has a history of mixing in parts from different vendors if the part number matches, so legit/fakes get mixed up.

I don't think you have to worry about it not being legit if it is sold from the official "SanDisk Store"
