I just replaced my Video Doorbell Pro with a refurb Video Doorbell Pro 2 purchased from ring.com direct because of the ring subscriber discount (ended up being $144 before tax). I think it is a MUCH better product. The Pro was good and was mostly still working nearly 6 years later, but the button had disintegrated in the sun and it took a while for the video to appear when I accessed it. This new Pro 2 has 802.11ac (which admittedly is now superseded by WiFi 6 and 7) and it instantly appears on my phone or Alexa when the doorbell rings. The capacitor you install into your wiring also works much better and delivers consistent power (sometimes the old one wouldn't even trigger the mechanical doorbell). The wider FOV on the camera is also a huge improvement.

So for $150 even if a refurb, I would hands down recommend the Pro 2 over the Pro. I would even recommend at full price over this deal.

Very slightly better quality and night time recording. The higher FOV is nice depending on your setup. I can see packages on the ground clearly with a Pro 2, for example

I used to work for ring so if y’all have questions let me know

No its not.
For all RFB products Amazon description clear says that and 90 day warranty.

This isn't the battery version, requires integration w existing doorbell wiring. Waiting for a nest battery deal myself
My girlfriends Ring 2 just bit the big one. The Ring 3 battery operated doorbell is on sale for $139.99.(Orig $199.99)
https://www.amazon.com/Ring-Video...th=1&psc=1
Probably going to pull the trigger on this deal I can't see prices going that low for a Ring 4 battery operated version on a Black Friday sale.

EDIT:
On second thought there a $15 gift card for returning the old Ring 2 in good condition (the old unit still powers on and looks good.) For a net of $125 and next day prime delivery, to insure her safety why not?

Thanks, OP!

I had a price alert set for this, and I'm happy to see it finally below $100. This is the lowest I've seen this perhaps ever.

If you have their highest protect plan, I believe they warranty all of your products.

A lot of complaints about wifi connectivity issues recently. Is this an older model that has trouble with wifi 6?

I've noticed the opposite where the original Ring devices work better with Wifi 6e, where the Ring Floodlight plus and pro have weak wifi signal and disconnects at times. The wifi range on the plus and pro seems to struggle over the original floodlight.

Not a direct answer to your question as they are different devices, but my ring doorbell pro 2 have been fine.
