It's the best I've seen for price/performance if you're just aching to replace a graphics card from 2016. All the GPUs are refurbished with 90-day warranties. The two refurbs I've bought from Zotac in the past are still both running after a couple of years.

RTX 2080 Ti Twin Fan $299.99 [zotacstore.com] - OOS

RTX 2080 AMP $239.99 [zotacstore.com] - OOS

RTX 2070 Blower Fan $179.99 [zotacstore.com] - OOS

RTX 2060 Twin Fan $119.99 [zotacstore.com] - OOS

GT 730 2GB DDR5 $27.99 [zotacstore.com]
This is what my wife's desktop uses and I've played some old games on it just fine.

There are many other graphics card variants available, as well as GeForce 10 series cards. The GTX 1080 Ti price isn't too bad. There's also a $24 low-profile card.

After three years of mining baking at 75C+ Personally, I would plan on taking it apart and reapplying thermal paste upon receiving it.

Edit: Obviously creates warranty challenges.
According to this refurbished = used. I hope that they do some kind of service to the cards before they sell them as refurbished.

axd1152Isnt that something that zotac should do before selling it to us as a refurbished cardI wouldn't assume as much.
I wouldn't trust these companies to do much more than airgun & alcohol wipe the outer surfaces and apply a refurb sticker. Doing more cuts into profits and decreases "shareholder value"...but I'm jaded.

Wow, 1080TI for $220....I'm looking to upgrade that card and didn't think I could get $150 for such an old card.

I guess the old stuff is good if you only play without RT and pickup extended warranties.

the 2080 Ti is nice. Equivalent speed to 3070 and not far behind the 3070 Ti but doesnt cost $500-600

I picked up a squaretrade warranty from newegg for up to $299.99 (bought the refurb 2080 Ti) $35 for 3 years

"Plans cover products purchased in the last 30 days from Newegg.com"
I'm confused, doesn't this warranty plan only cover.... products from newegg?

I mean it's still a beast if you aren't ray tracing. If a 2080ti is only 80 bucks more I'm not sure why would you go with a 1080ti however.

how are you so sure half of them will last half as long as they won't and and less than half of them will last half as long as they should?
Don't worry, I got the LOTR reference =).

so they gave the first guy a 3 year warranty to OC mine the card 24/7, then after 3 years of hard mining they rma it it and now resell to you with a 90 day warranty.

That's not typically what "refurbished" means. Usually, it's returns that didn't post on a new build or upgrade, I think. But you are correct that there is an inherent risk with less time to make a judgement on the card's capabilities and condition. Although I've heard some pretty shady things about Newegg and Amazon sales, even ones that are supposedly straight from Newegg/Amazon lately. This is, at least, straight from Zotac.

The 1080 Ti held up pretty well, but the RX 6600 is a better buy today. There's a reason it didn't sell out as quickly as the 20 series cards.

I have also looked into this for you, be cautious of "I confirm that all of the items I'm protecting are new and have been purchased in the last 30 days."
this isn't a new item.. I'm not sure warranty works here

I'm also worried about the 2080 ti I bought breaking,
but there's 90 days to trial it...
I wish us all good luck with these cards
