I wish they would make more watches like this. Basic notifications etc and a e-ink or other highly power efficient smaller display combined with great battery life yet otherwise regular analog sounds great to me. My Galaxy Watch is nice and all but 90% of the things it can do I never do and just use my phone for it. Im guessing many are the same way with their Android or Apple watches.

I have the Collider style of this watch and love it. Keep in mind that the newer Fossil Gen 6 hybrid is out, which has Alexa and appears to fix a few of the pain points of this watch (no digital assistant, better HR monitoring, etc) but for the price this is a no brainer. This watch looks amazing, and keeps me from reaching in my pocket every minute to check if a notification is important, or if it can wait.

I'm in for one to have another style option. Thanks OP!

The Garmin vivomove series is nice. Decent activity tracking, slick looking minimalist analog watch with a display that is absolutely inviting until it turns on. I get 5 days off of a charge, my wife gets 4 (my screen is always off unless I tap it to turn it on, my wife has it turn on every time she lifts her wrist to look at her watch). Even when the battery is too weak to run the smarts, the analog portion will supposedly run for 5 days, I've never tested that longevity though.

The companion app is surprisingly good - usually these sorts of apps are an afterthought and suck on toast. I'm really pleased with it and use it more than I thought I would and I am more on top of my activity tracking because of it.

My biggest complaint is the screen is a little difficult to read in direct sunlight - small price for me to pay to have a normal looking watch with some smarts.

I had the Garmin vivomove until a few months ago when the backlight just stopped working. The screen is so dull I can barely read it in a completely dark room. I tried a hard reset but now I just have a brick because I cannot read the screen enough to reconnect it to my phone and use it as a normal watch. I loved it up until this happened though. Now it's useless

Same here. Fossil seems to be the leader in hybrid watches right now (with their Skagen brand as well). Though I think Citizen has a nice one out. The Withings watches are interesting too -- they're not a watch company but they have some nice looking models.

You will never find another band like this. Hybrid leather and rubber band, far exceeds quality of imitations on Amazon or eBay. If you work with your hands, this is the watch/band to get. There are also other colors available for the bands. I use them on much more expensive watches because it's more secure than just leather. The bands sell for around $40, so this watch at this price is a no brainer.

Got my wife a Withings. She gets complimented on it non-stop. I didn't even realize so many people check out each other's watches.

But. The step tracker is like 15% off. So she keeps a second step tracker on her (garmin vivofit), which is hilarious because it defeats the point of the smart watch. This is one of the older models, so maybe they are improved now.

Seems to be exactly what I'm looking for except 45mm is a bit big for my small wrist. Wish they made a smaller size.

As someone that has a fossil smart watch, I can say that the new Fossil smart watch app is trash. It's locked down a few items that I enjoyed when Google Wear was the app. Not sure the Hybrid will suffer the same as a fully enabled smart watch, but just an FYI.

Mine came with this band and it lasted a year and then split.
