About these movies:
  • JOHN WICK: When sadistic young thugs senselessly attack John Wick — a brilliantly lethal ex-assassin — they have no idea that they've just awakened the boogeyman. With New York City as his bullet-riddled playground, Wick embarks on a merciless rampage, hunting down his adversaries with the skill and ruthlessness that made him an underworld legend.
  • JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 2: Legendary hit man John Wick is forced out of retirement again by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins' guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome, where he squares off against some of the world's deadliest killers.
  • JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 3 – PARABELLUM: Super assassin John Wick (Keanu Reeves) has a $14 million dollar price tag on his head after killing a member of the High Table, the shadowy international assassins' guild. Now excommunicado, and with any army of the world's most ruthless hit men and women on his trail, John must find a way to survive in this third chapter of the adrenaline-fueled action series.

Bought this a week ago and things to note:

These blu-rays are 1080p not 4K (I didn't read).

Also you can get these digital copies into your Google Play, Vudu accounts (for John Wick 1-2) but I wasn't able to confirm that they were 4K online. John Wick 3 for some reason was available on Apple TV, Vudu, and Google Play, but Google Play didn't support 4K (explicitly stated).

None of these are MA supported (Lionsgate) which makes this all the more confusing.
Just in time for the 4th movie.

Trading time for ads to save money is a dealbreaker. Time is priceless while there is a choice to spend or not to spend money.

So you believe a 4k ultra HD disc should the same price as a 1080p blu-ray disc? Is it also unfair an ultra hd player costs far more than a blu ray player?

You think a better version should be the same price?

It's printed plastic

Just like there was no reason for blank DVD-rs to cost more than CDRs

This is a moronic conversation. Truly it is. Should 2 new cars with identical amounts of steel and aluminum, idebtical warranty etc.. cost the cost the same?

In fact, by your logic.. a vehicle built 20 years ago should be the same cost as one built today. You totally discount technology advances etc.. or the cost to develop and produce at scale.

I'm not a snob, but you really want this movie in 4K, the choreography is stunning.
