Jesus some people are so picky. These are $10 why are we expecting $50 quality. I have some that I wear almost daily and I like them a lot, they're just socks.

I bought different more expensive adidas socks. They were comfy and felt really good. Long story short washed and returned. Fell apart after one use. Back to darn tough if they make coolmax in grey or thorlos which take 10+ years to fail for me

You can get Puma Socks at Costco for cheaper if you wanted to go that route (Unbreathable, uncomfortable, etc).

I wear poly in work boots for hours on an end. Most of the time they're comfy and don't smell. If they do the culprit is usually the dye. For long periods of wear avoid black socks.

Poly is great when you don't want to have wet socks all day! I use them exclusively, especially so in bad weather
