Man, I'm the #1 Costco fan of all time but their sales have been absolutely pathetic.

Major disappointment IMO.

Costco "sales" are a thing of the past. It's getting to the point where they cobble together some "stuff" just to fill out a brochure.

I think the worst is still when I go in and see an item placed on sale, but all they did was raise the price from the previous week and then knock off X amount as a sale, but it just makes it the same price as it was...the previous week. They do this with so many things at my local Costco- take the honey roasted nut mix they put on sale every year for the holidays. I went in one week and it was something like $10.49(as it had been for a long time)? The next week the price was raised to $13.49 or $13.99 and then I saw the ad saying it will be on sale for $3 or so bucks off. It's ridiculous. People that don't shop at Costco on a weekly basis often don't realize they're getting screwed. I sometimes see Sam's pull similar stuff, but they tend to be more honest about how their in store prices fluctuate. But I still shop at both!

Costco does this with the prepared foods, as well. Suddenly the weights/price go up on packages of their stuffed peppers or enchiladas or whatever and then it is "$4 off per package" which puts it back down to what I normally pay per package/ or pound.

Oh, they did the same stunt at my Costco. I take it you are buying the Savanna Orchids nuts...

https://www.costco.com/CatalogSea...d+nut+mix+

That s**t is like crack...I will eat a whole damn can in 2 days time. That is why i quit buying them. "Put the Savanna roasted nuts down and back away from the table" LOL

Another favorite trick is to assume we are too stupid to do math. Look at the link. The only difference is peanuts vs macadamia vs pistachio. Now are you willing to pay more than twice as much PER can by buying a two pack vs the single pack? Maybe if you are allergic to peanuts.

My local Kroger loves to pull this crap. An item will sell for $4 or you can buy 2 for $9. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I'm considering the Delsey luggage if I can figure out the final cost. I have a Desley 22" and it's been great for international travel. Or rather, it was before all this mess...
I checked out the luggage in store today. The price was $189 and it looked to be good quality. I will buy it once the sale starts.

I was at Costco yesterday and there was a Penguin 2 set for 199 with a 28" (I think that was the size) and a 22" in black. Looked nice but the delsey looked more flashy. Both pieces were same size I believe

Is Costco's apple event listed in this? I see $100 off the 13" MacBook Pro. If so, this is worth than the deal a few weeks ago for the 16" M1 Max($400 discount and $500 gift card)

No iPad deal Frown
Their Holiday events ad has a picture of iPad 9 iPhone 14, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and M2 Macbook for their Black Friday event. They don't advertise those prices in print, probably so they don't get leaked. For the sale starting yesterday they had pictured the 3 AirPod models that are on sale (again without prices).

My guess is those items will be on sale on Black Friday, who knows how good the pricing.

I wish costco would deliver their pizza or food court menu items through sameday service/ instacart. I'd order weekly if they did.

Still a disappoint though. Xbox for example shows $239.99 starting 11/17. MSRP is $299.99.

Those are loss leaders. They only have them to get you in the store. Will beat the purpose if they allow Instacart on that
