I have mixed feelings about this monitor. I've had it for 1 year. Biggest issue is the noticeable display gap in the corners. Besides that it's big and bright for typical office and nice colors.
The stand has a huge depth so I recommend getting a monitor arm or replacement stand.

This is good for Xbox series X or a 4K monitor would do better?

This seems like a decent deal still. Plus Costco return policy. I have been looking for a few days for a 32" Monitor and I haven't seen anything with HDMI 2.1 to take full advantage using with the Series X. If you know of something for $300 or leas with HDMI 2.1 let me know.

Higher framerates on the new consoles don't require HDMI 2.1. Plenty of people have gotten the Series S and PS5 to run at 120 fps with only HDMI 2.0. PS5 also supports 1440p now, so this will probably be the ideal range going forward.

the display gap is an eyesore. I noticed it the moment I turned the display on.

I try to mention it on Slickdeals and people act like I'm crazy. The gap is massive and the only truly bad thing about the monitor. Think I noticed it outside the return period so I just make do.

Ok so that means I dont have a bad sample... I took a picture of the gap and I can see it on the picture! that tells you how wide the gap is.
The color is also somewhat washout. Not sure if that's the nature of VA panel but to me it is bad.
Will return back to Costco later. Dont wanna go anytime soon since there will be a long lineup of people who return stuff...

This deal is back again. I just see it at Costco. How does it compare to the sumsang G5 32 inches that Costco sells for $279?

I saw this at my local Costco as well...however I'm replacing a older monitor which was ips so I ordered the Samsung instead which is also a ips panel unlike this LG.

Will the difference between ips vs VA worth the extra $50?

This deal will be back again for Feb, except it'll be $10 more. Is it worth it at $240?

I got it from Best Buy. My son is using it for his Series X mounted on the Amazon Dual mount. Only using 1 of the mounts. The other is being used with the Bigfoot MIC. Sweet setup. I've seen members mention they prefer IPS (this LG is VA). I also read another user here say VA is the best for gaming…. Everyone has there preference I guess. If you don't like it you can return it easily (it DOESN'T fall under the 90 electronic warranty so you have plenty of time, 3 years?) When I setup the monitor I thought the color was a bit dull, washed. After watching my kid game on it, it looks really nice with COD, Fortnite, Minecraft etc. He usually has the bedroom blinds closed so it's dark in the room. With the blinds open and the room well lit it doesn't look quite as good imo. Like I said I haven't gamed on it. Only have watched him play for 5-10 mins at a time. My son is happy with it and the price was good for a monitor with similar specs. Also remember no speakers built in. There is an aux port in the back. He's got headphones he uses with the Bigfoot MIC to talk, but when he isn't playing online with friends I have the aux cable plugged into a Bluetooth speaker that sits on his desk and works great.

It's only 1440p so you can easily play it in 1440 120fps on Xbox and PS5. You only need hdmi 2.1 for 4K 120fps and VRR.
