I really like ours. Love making the sorbet with it. I take a can of pineapples, mangos or fresh bananas that are over ripe and toss them in the container. Freeze it for a day then put it in the machine when we want some. Takes 3 or 4 minutes to make a creamy dessert that is fairly healthy with little effort. I've made the ice cream once or twice, that's good but I really like it for the fast and easy sorbet.

Seems expensive for an icecream maker.
This also has 4 pints which usually retail for $10-$15 each. It's not just ice cream you can do sorbet, smoothie bowl, gelato, milkshake. Really easy to make these things from fresh fruit or juice or things without sugar. Healthy desserts. Usually sell for much more.
It's all the rage. Diet food. Lots of Facebook groups, Reddit communities, keto, etcetera. Healthy food 😋

Sorbets we're the most consistently good result for me. I didn't like the idea of cream cheese as the base for most of their ice creams so I went off and experimented and searched to build out some go to recipes.

One thing that I really dislike is how incredibly loud the machine is when it runs, and that most of my pints need 2+ cycles to get all good and creami. Also, that the 'driver' implement can get your dessert base on it and it'll dry and be kinda gross if you don't sponge it down each use.

depends on why you buy it. If you have different ppl in the house with different nutritional needs or restrictions, this is a great way to enjoy ice cream with the whole family.

We use either whole milk (from own production or store bought) or a small amount of half&half for a creamy type light ice cream for a sherbet with cream. Never used cream cheese in any recipes. But will use canned fruit (bought or own canning) and mix wth either milk, half&half or even yogurt. Cherries + homemade yogurt makes the best!

Is this actually an ice cream maker or a blender you put pre-frozen ingredients in. Big difference. I'm seeing the things you can make are kind of crap and people keep talking about making ice cream using cream cheese, which sounds about right if you are using a blender.

Not quite. I can ride my bike to work too and accomplish the same task. It doesn't mean it's practical because it will take me 3 hours as opposed to 30 minutes with a car.

This appears to come with three TOTAL pints, not three extra. Every Creami comes with at least one, so, only 2 are "extras".
