Is it possible to block merchants from showing up for me?

6 10 November 14, 2022 at 07:50 PM
There are several merchants that I would like to never see deals from, because they are stores that aren't located in my region, or require memberships that I do not currently have, or that will never be of interest in purchasing from.

Is there some way that I can exclude some specific merchants from my "just for you", my "front page" deals, and my "deal alerts"?

One example, DirectToolsOutlet sells and has great deals on Ryobi tools, but the closest Direct Tools Outlet is over 1000 miles from me. But I am very interested in seeing deals for Ryobi from Home Depot.

Another example is Sam's Club. Again, there isn't one anywhere near me, I don't have a membership, and I don't want to have deals show up that are from Sam's Club.

Another example is Microcenter. These are products and deals I'd normally gravitate toward, but there isn't a Microcenter within 1000 miles of me either, so I'd rather not see what I can't access.

Maybe not necessarily a "block", per se. But rather a way to filter out certain results?

For me, it's Costco. Nearest one is the better part of an hour away, and I'll never shop there. Shoot, I seldom, if ever, got up to the Sam's Club, 20 minutes away, when I had my membership there, unless I needed gas!

I'm interested in this too. I see so many "deals" from Costco, but I will never pay for a membership to buy from a merchant, so they just annoy me. The more of these things I see, the less likely I am to continue using this site.

I have the same request, to block merchants from showing up. Did you find a solution, if so can you share please?
