I ordered the 2TB Intel NVME drive from NewEgg when it was on sale on 11-02. They still have it on backorder and can't tell me when they'll ship. They haven't charged me for it, though- and won't until (more likely, unless) it ships. I used to love NewEgg. Others (like Amazon, Best Buy) seem to be able to get stock for this item.

Best deal (if you can get it) is on Samsung via EDU/EPP email. $161.99, which actually works out as the same as Amazon's 10% back, however, a certain cashback site has 10% back at Samsung, making it about $145.

Correct - if you have an Amazon card that's the better deal.

It's a discontinued model. They won't have it back in stock.

The 1TB version is available at MicroCenter now for $80. If folks don't want to wait, or just need the smaller size, it is an option.
Are you sure that's the 980 pro, not regular 980? Listed 119.99 for me.

The one you are talking about is a Gen3 DRAM-less NVME. This is the "Pro" variant which is a Gen4 w/ DRAM cache. Two very different items.

Should be right on the product page, underneath the price. Shows, "Get 10% back on amount charged to an Amazon Prime credit card."

I guess it might be targeted? But it shows for me.

Chase Freedom has 5% cash back when you pay with Paypal, which comes out to $161.50 for Newegg vs $162 for Amazon.

Where is the info on this offer from Amazon? Amazon card is usually only 5% CB.
