My best *guess* is that Newegg will pull the motherboard combos and re-price the 7950x at $574.00 from 11/21-11/26. Then anyone that knows about the $20 code will get it for $554.
Moore's Law Is Dead claims to have many retail sources stating AMD is rebating MC (and other specialty retailers like Newegg) for these discounts and combo deals due to slower than anticipated sales and the strong showing from Intel's 13th gen.
Who knows what MC will do for BF. This deal will likely be better for those who need the freedom to pick their components unless MC finds a way to match... but that would almost certainly be in store only.
I picked up a 7950x, the exact X670E motherboard I was after, and DDR5 via a MC deal several weeks back. I've been happy with the purchase so far but haven't fully completed the build... Waiting for (4) 980 Pros to ship from Samsung as this is a high performance virtualization host that requires lots of fast storage. Note - I've seen no issues running 4 dimms at full expo speeds. 36+ hours of continuous memtest86 and memtest86+ with no errors... that was a pleasant surprise.
