Love these types of deals but beware that Dell only charges once the item has shipped. Several weeks ago there was a $50 off $100 deal going on for AMEX/Dell and I placed an order about 3 days before expiration. One of the items I ordered (Logitech mouse) didn't ship until about a week after expiration. Charge didn't count (charges were actually split up since items I ordered shipped separately) and I didn't get the promo from AMEX. Talked to AMEX customer service and there was nothing they could do. So make sure you place an order accounting for expected ship date.

Hopefully we see a deal for one of the Alienware oled monitors.

If I were you, I would use the old monitor until it dies or something and then buy a new one.

This includes any other equipment.

Oh for sure. That was just one example of some luxury item I want but will not buy. For my line of work, I need a dual purpose large screen, for static images and gaming. Samsung Neo G7 works well and I don't need to worry about OLED features. However, vicariously, I am psyched for those who will use this Amex offer!

What is $50 to them? This company is really greedy, so watch out and make sure you really want the product and don't plan on returning it later.

Never heard Dell charging return and or restocking fees and I've been buying/selling/returning Dells systems for years (as a regular consumer).

Actually, it was a Dell laptop, that had a defective keyboard (there were thousands of these and dell did nothing) Notified Dell 2 weeks after warranty, and they did nothing, AMEX reimbursed me for the portion I paid for with their card.

The blue cash everyday removed this benefit like 3 years ago

Based on my experience, current deals are as good as they are going be as they have been running Black Friday pricings weeks before and after (look under the black Friday deals section). I would still wait as Dell CB at various sites should be at least 10% and up right at BF/Cyber Monday.

I don't even know. That's part of the nightmare. I started a return and all I got was "write this number on the box and FedEx will pick it up". They didn't say when FedEx will pick it up or give me a label to print. I waited for 9 days then started a chat online. Chatted with them online and they "started a return" for me and said someone would call me. That was 2 days ago. Not sure why someone needs to call me. Why can't I just print a label and return it? I don't know what is going on.

On the Dell site, it says they charge 10% for returning opened products. Customer support told me they wouldn't charge me but I didn't know who to believe. It was confusing and I decided not to take the gamble of returning the computer and not being refunded completely.
