No info on the motor power. I would skip. Costco has Cuisinart on sale for $27.99 in the warehouse ($35.99 online) after $12 off, which is a much more reputable brand. It also includes 4-cup chopper, whisk, and 3-cup beaker.

No info on the motor power. I would skip. Costco has Cuisinart on sale for $27.99 in the warehouse ($35.99 online) after $12 off, which is a much more reputable brand. It also includes 4-cup chopper, whisk, and 3-cup beaker.

Get the Cuisinart from Costco. It's by far the best value I've seen for immersion blenders. Recently upgraded to the recent model and it works great. Better than the more expensive Beeville my friend has that is "professional".

Will these scratch up the bottom of your pots? I've been wanting one for a long time, but my sweet wife says it will ruin her Le Creuset pots and our frying pans...

I had the same concern when looking for a replacement for an old Braun. I had trouble finding a nonmetallic one until I ran across a cheap one at Lidl. Works great for me, and it's plastic at the bottom so no concerns about my LC cookware.

I can confirm the one from Costco is terrific. I bought one 10 years ago and it's still going. Got this as a backup. It does not scratch your pots. Very powerful. I use it to mix base for icecream before freezing

People talking about power, which may well be relevant. Here's the thing, I have one (as in I have no idea on brand) and use it sparingly, but and super glad to have the tool when called upon. Great deal if you just need one to use once every few months.
