Looks like they use Erythritol as a sweetener, which is one of the better options. I'm just glad they don't use maltitol as Hershey's does in their sugar-free stuff because that stuff doesn't agree with my stomach.

How so? I googled at bit and everything I find says its good. Only bad I found is it releases toxins when heated...but in this case it is not being heated.

Link? or some key words to google?

Also Ukraine is the biggest producer of sunflower oil. Слава Украине!!!
It's produced with a chemical solvent called hexane, in extremely high heat, rancid, and then bleached and deodorized so that it doesn't smell bad. The oil is also very high in linoleic acid which is highly inflammatory. This is literally one of the largest disease causing ingredients in processed foods. A one-way ticket to heart disease, inflammation and chronic disease. Google video of how seed oils are manufactured.

Ah, thank you! That does make sense then, and in processed foods I'm sure that is what is used Frown But doesn't this imply that if you were to get some "cold pressed" sunflower oil, it would actually be healthy? (and expensive as it would be low volume and "artisinal")

Yes, it would be better but it would still be high in linoleic acid (omega 6) which drives inflammation and disease. Humans aren't evolved to consume such sky-high levels.

Has anyone tested to see if this product causes a spike in blood sugar using a glucometer?

What things do you put this on?

Thanks!
To keep your blood sugar down, just consume more fiber. Proven time and time again that fiber regulates blood sugar levels.

Other way around for me. Erythritol is fine for me but maltitol doesn't agree with me.

Maltitol will have roughly 75% of the effects of sugar. Erythritol is basically 0%. If your sugar free snack has maltitol you might as well indulge with the full bodied version.

Code seems to be dead as it's not working for me either on regular order or S&S order
