We paid about this much for the non-dark 4p version and like it, but this one is a no-brainer for car camping. Coleman makes solid tents, if a little heavy.

Best tent for non backpacking. Fast setup, thick poles, I can stand in it, and it's super dark inside. My parents had one from Costco and after I stayed in it on Ragbrai, I went and found my own, but had to pay like 120 for it.

This same tent was posted last month - https://slickdeals.net/f/16109683-coleman-dome-6-person-tent-76-30-free-shipping and was at $76.30 then. Glad that the price has dropped further. A quick chat with a Target rep and I was able to price match and get the difference back. Thanks OP for the post.

I read complaints before on similar models that there are no zipperable windows, just mesh, and you only get the dark by adding the rain fly. Is that the same here? It's hard to tell from the pics. I would think that would make it hard to control airflow/temperature

I bought it last time. The front door zips, and the rear window opposite the door zips. The 2 side windows are only screened and do not have any sort of closure. If you want to "close" them, you need to bring the rain-fly close to the body of the tent. That's the one thing I don't like about the tent.

EDIT: I also was successful with a price match to lower it more Smilie

Considering purchasing but so many negative reviews on busted poles scare me. My previous coleman also fell victim to busted poles after a few years use.

Woukd this be comfortable enough for an adult and two kids? Want to start taking my sons on the occasional camping trip sometime and don't want to spend more than necessary.. Yet still something easy to setup and able to withstand some wind and rain.
