The M28U monitor itself is VESA 100mm mountable, so basically any aftermarket VESA arm will work with the M28U. This edition just comes with their version of an arm. An aftermarket VESA arm will be more flexible as you can use it on any monitor with VESA mounts (which is basically any worthwhile monitor these days).

Torn between this and the nitro. Will occasionally be hooking up my college laptop. This has KVM but not enough power out. The Acer has enough power but no KVM. Ugh.
