The price on these has been bouncing around as of late. Many places selling these well over $40. Looks like they're backordered 3-4 weeks, and then expect at least 2 weeks after they're back in stock. So, if you want them for an Xmas gift, then you might want to order from somewhere else.

Repped. No experience with the company but these little ones never go on sale. I have two of them and recommend them all the time. They are comical in size, but if you are trying to turn a nut or bolt in a confined space, these grip incredibly well. They are manufactured so well, as you would expect from anything Knipex.

If it makes you feel any better, I've ordered hundreds of dollars in multiple Knipex orders. They're very legit... see their third party reviews. They have something like a 5 star independent rating and they've been around (in Berlin) for over 3 decades. Like Amazon started out selling just books... Grooves started out selling just music albums.

As I said in the OP, tho... note there is a substantial wait time. You'll eventually get your stuff, but, shipping takes about 2 - 3 weeks to America, and these are backordered 3 - 4 weeks. So, unfortunately, you're looking at getting these after Xmas.

Grooves is solid company (ordered from several times with no issue), but it will take longer for it to arrive then it did for Maricopa county to count their votes…LMAOlaugh out loud

Great find. Shipping is free. If you want to pay a bit extra ~$3 you can get tracking, which I opted for. The final price came out to be $28.57 with tax and shipping which is still a few bucks off Amazon's $30.17.

I ordered a pair for my Dad and another for my cousin in law for Christmas.

ordered these last time tots posted them up. I got tons of use out of my mini wera ratchet this summer working on my old audi. I figured this would be a good backup plan to have in the bag if needed. arrived quickly and the quality is stunning. even if I never use it, glad to have it. if you have the extra cash and think at some point you might be battling in a small space, probably worth picking this up now. teeth and mechanism seem top notch.

For those of us who are just enthusiasts, I would recommend spending six dollars more and buying from home depot. Reading all the reviews, I really wanted to own one - so just went the home depot route. Now I have three months to decide if the money was well spent 😁
