Not sure why this is getting downvoted, I think people are not reading that it's the 16" model, not 14".

This is the lowest price this size/config MacBook has ever been historically. The best deal yet for anyone considering the baseline 16"

The 14" one is. That one has slightly fewer cores, same RAM and SSD capacity. 16" has slightly better speakers, a few hours longer battery life.

Edit: Looks like I made the same mistake others did when they first read this deal. I was thinking of the 14in as clarified in the comments below mine.
