ABSOLUTE F*ING life changer!!! I LOVE my S7 MaxV Ultra. We have mostly hard floor with some sections of area rugs and it's amazing how this thing can manage to clean up everything. We have 3 cats, a bird, and a dog and I truly regret not getting this sooner. Now I only wish some of the refills go on sale as I am soon up for some replacements. The obstacle avoidance is impressive, and we also enjoy using it as a spy cam to watch our kitties when we're away. It's kinda hypnotic to just look at the camera stream when it's cleaning. The one thing I will mention though is that the dirty water tank does smell rank when you open it, so if you are disgusted by the thought of practically sewage sitting in that dock, you might want to clean the tank more often that when it's full.
Your comment is not helpful. What do you expect? Most of the products are made in China anyway.
And it's a vacuum, you worry on Chinese people knowing the map and layout of your house and how frequent you use the vacuum? Same thing will happen if this products is made in the US, US companies will also track the same data.
IMHO, i think this is not the best deal given it's call the Black Friday deals.
The discounted pricing is basically the same as past deals we have seen here. It's a shame, i was waiting to see the S7 MaxV Ultra, but it's still very pricey.

To be fair it also has a camera and a microphone, I have an S6 Max V and the privacy policy is actually pretty good. you do have to email them if you don't want them to share your information with third parties, kinda wish you could just opt out from the account page.
Can you add cleaning solution to the water without damaging anything? We have 5 dogs and I usually mop with Mr. Clean Pet to neutralize any pet smells.
I have a Roomba now, but not a very smart one. Looking to spoil ME and go for the all out cleaning bot, but some seem to want to mop with water only.
Thank you!
I run vinegar in my s6, as long as it doesn't have wax in it you should be fine.
I ran a floor cleaner in mine once and it clogged up the nozzles because it unknowingly to me contained wax. I had to take it apart and clean it.
I have an S7 MaxV Ultra for my downstairs which has mostly wood floor, and an S7 MaxV Plus for my upstairs which is almost all carpet. Both are just fantastic and feel like a massive leap forward in robot vacuum tech. In the past I had a very old non-mapping Roomba, it was useless. I had a Roborock S4 with mapping, it was ok but always threw errors on mid-pile carpet. I had an Ecovac Deebot T8 AIVI which was top of the line 2 years ago...but it was terrible for fine pet hair(auto empty never worked), and also got lost trying to find the dock all the time.
The S7 MaxV just works. It requires very little "babysitting", just make sure the floor is generally picked up of stuff like cords. I run them 5 days a week (3 pets, kids, etc). I have to "help the stuck robot" maybe once every two weeks. The auto empty bins on both the + and the ultra work perfectly with fine pet hair (we have one long hair cat, and two mid/long hair dogs that shed tons). The mop on the ultra is good...the convenience of auto empty/auto fill makes it super simple to keep going. I mop twice a week and I do try to empty it within 24h of mopping because the dirty water will get smelly, but this is a 1 minute task and super easy.
Its expensive but it really is amazing if you're on the fence. My floors have never been cleaner. One tip - if you are doing a lot of carpet, buy a Q5 replacement brush (~$10 on amazon). It fits the S7 MaxV and has bristles, which work much better on carpet. The standard brush is all rubber, which is great for hardwood floors/tile, but not carpet.
Cant afford the ultra or plus… can i just get the s7 marv by itself? What extra work do i do with just the vacuum?
Thank you

Yes you can. It just takes more time to maintain. You'd have to manually empty the bin when it finishes vacuuming (or whenever it gets full, not sure if your house is dirty like mine lol). I think mopping again, youd have to manually fill a water tank and empty it when done.
Basically you lose convenience. Instead of emptying the dustbin every 4 months, you empty it every week. Instead of emptying the water every 15 rooms mopped, you empty it every room mopped.
The main link for this deal goes to the Roborock website where it shows the upcoming Black Friday specials.
Also, items scheduled to start on 11/20, actually went live the afternoon/evening of 11/19.
Just FYI, Dreametech is selling their L10s Ultra on ebay and that is a comparable model to Roborock s7 maxv ultra. They take offers and last time I offered $1000 and they accepted. Unfortunately the unit I received was defected and had to return it, and they were very responsive and handled my return and refund just fine.

Amazon has them on sale for $1099. Tried to post it but SD is removing posts about Dreametech.
I had issues initially also but found a pretty easy fix online. Essentially the water valve gets stuck from being without water during shipping. You use a straw to suck some water out to get it started and run a "system fix" from the app. Has been great since.
Better cleaning than the S7, a mop dryer, and better looking. Only real downside is the AI is not as good as the S7 and the water tanks are a bit smaller.

Yeah I got the exact same issue, but unfortunately my unit still didn't work after I tried the water valve fix . I'm still deciding whether I should buy it again. I'd say the biggest advantage of L10s over s7 maxv is that the base of L10s is very easy to clean and does not stink.
