Ended up getting the S7 MaxV without the empty dock and received it yesterday. It is a beauty! The set you and quick mapping was super fast. I had the S4 and can see a huge improvement on the app experience but also how the vacuum behaves.

It isn't meant to replace elbow grease and scrub off residue or stuck on dirt from your floors. But I own the S6 which also mops and it basically vibrates the wet pad back and forth while dragging it across the floor. There is a visible wet trail left by the machine. So, again, it isn't intended to lift seriously stuck on dirt or dried spills, but it does pick up small items. So think: dust, pollen, loose dirt, hair, etc. I run the vacuum functionality a couple of times a week and use the mopping functionality once a month or so. You can tell a difference after the machine has mopped.

Same here. I have the S7 and it's incredible. I'm constantly floored (pun intended) how well it works when emptying it. And the mop is great too - just gotta remember to wash the pad between uses or you're just pushing dirt around. Overall it's paid off for the year I've had it. App is great too. No complaints. Just wish the dock was on sale like you mentioned

That is for the dock that just empties the dust and doesn't have the dirty / clean water tank.

I use mine daily with the roborock solution. Best purchase ever. The S7MVU is a game changer!

Well you simply can't expect everything to be the cheapest in the US. China has much higher prices for cars, iphones, PCs, etc.
