ABSOLUTE F*ING life changer!!! I LOVE my S7 MaxV Ultra. We have mostly hard floor with some sections of area rugs and it's amazing how this thing can manage to clean up everything. We have 3 cats, a bird, and a dog and I truly regret not getting this sooner. Now I only wish some of the refills go on sale as I am soon up for some replacements. The obstacle avoidance is impressive, and we also enjoy using it as a spy cam to watch our kitties when we're away. It's kinda hypnotic to just look at the camera stream when it's cleaning. The one thing I will mention though is that the dirty water tank does smell rank when you open it, so if you are disgusted by the thought of practically sewage sitting in that dock, you might want to clean the tank more often that when it's full.
Your comment is not helpful. What do you expect? Most of the products are made in China anyway.
And it's a vacuum, you worry on Chinese people knowing the map and layout of your house and how frequent you use the vacuum? Same thing will happen if this products is made in the US, US companies will also track the same data.
IMHO, i think this is not the best deal given it's call the Black Friday deals.
The discounted pricing is basically the same as past deals we have seen here. It's a shame, i was waiting to see the S7 MaxV Ultra, but it's still very pricey.
Roborock is only 1 year older than Dreametech assuming both of their websites are right. I tried researching their products since the L10s looks to be a better deal right now with the integrated mop dryer, but it is definitely difficult to find user reviews of their products. It looks like they have focused more on other markets than U.S. while Roborock seems to went all out in the U.S. with sending units to reviewers.
Yeah. And I'd add that I've used all three apps. Dreame, Roborock, and Mi Home (some Dreame and Roborocks both work with this app) and it's clear all three are essentially the same app with exception of a coupe things.
One of the benefits of having the Xiaomi as a parent is that many parts and software are shared across the chain.
I bought the ultra as well, and bought the 3 year extended warranty, and also bought with the Costco Citi card to extend and additional 2 years. All in, 6 years of coverage. For those who are concerned about long term reliability, seems like the extended warranties are the way to go. Anyone else agree?
Yep I did this too rather then use my red card. I'll eat the extra 75$ and rather have 3 year piece of mind

Easy tiger.... It's easy to make money it's hard to hold on to it. Why do I need a $600 vacuum when a $100 one will suffice? The Yeedi 650 is what people need. I also believe that when you spend $900 or $700 on a vacuum that that is extremely expensive for these very fragile devices. I own the first iRobot floor vacuum almost 20 years ago so I have a little background in this. RTings gave the 650 its top budget vacuum now are we going for utility or for spending beyond which the vacuum will not return your investment. Like these combination vacuum floor mops.
Yeah I'm 60 I'm a boomer and I was around for every invention that you 30 or something year olds take for granted.
Lol… I've been wondering the same… I've seen several posts about "oh this is too expensive" "I don't get it why spend this much on a vacuum"
Sooo why do YOU click on the thread, read thru, click the comment button, and take the time to reply? Move on…
To each their own. Some people spend too much on cars, others on renovations, clothes, etc…. Should be a judgment free zone! I don't have the TIME to worry about what others do on the internet sorry. Just here to find information and help others as best we can

Why buy a cheap robot vacuum when a broom and dustpan is a better return on investment? You seem to forget that everyone's lifestyle and needs are different. People buy robot vacuums for the convenience. There's a reason why there is a wide range of models at different prices, everyone's wants are different and will buy what works for them. There is no point to thinking hard about "why people buy this?", try to convince others, or have others try to convince you.

Personally I have two kids with special needs, one who throws food at meals and the kitchen floor is always a mess with stuck on food. I already am up way too late doing the dishes, picking up toys, cleaning the counters etc. having something that can sweep, vacuum, mop AND clean up after itself is priceless. Let's say it lasts two years (and I'm very much hoping it lasts longer). That works out to about $1.50 a day to save myself a good 30 minutes of time and saving my sanity. and that's just the kitchen alone, not even thinking about other rooms. Absolutely worth it for my case. But can easily see why this is overkill for others. Don't judge people's situations and how they want to spend their money.

Couldn't agree more. I have 4 boys ages 6 and under. Both working parents. My kitchen looks like a tornado went through it every night, and the rest of my house isn't far behind. Having something that can vacuum and mop, and then clean itself, all while avoiding all of toys and mess in my house, is priceless. You may think I'm a fool for spending a grand on a robovac, and I think I'd be foolish not to... The question wasn't should I get one, the question is only which one (roborock or dreamebot).
Snagged the ultra along with a drying / water change kit from alibaba. A huge sum of money, but if it gives me a fully automated robo-mop via plumbing hookups I'll be happy.

Don't be surprised when you only receive the dryer unit. The dryer and water change kit is $368.

100%! The reason I stopped using my roomba is I was sick of fishing legos out of the dirt bin and untying shoelaces from it. It is easier to vacuum, sweep and mop (swiffer) myself. If this doesn't have that issue, or at least can avoid vacuuming the play room until it's semi clean, it's worth its weight in gold.
The question for me now is how to childproof the dock so my toddler doesn't splash the dirty water everywhere (I really hope it's childlocked somehow?) or get yogurt all over the robot lol.
I'm tempted to lock the dock into a closet with an outlet and manually putting the robot on it and starting the clean cycle.

People that buy this must be the ones they're talking about that earn 200 grand sitting on their duffs at Twitter.
