Just beat on Xbox highly recommend. If you like Diablo and binding of Isaac mixed with retro graphics and good story pick this up.

For $5.50 this game is a no-brainer. If you like roguelikes at all you should give this one a try.

There are actually more similarities than I had realized before reading your question! First, it's a roguelike of course and you find upgrades in each of your runs as well as having permanent character upgrades that you earn. There is a story that plays out slowly over the course of the game as you progress through the levels, the art and narration are both excellent, though different styles from Hades, there are several playable characters to choose from with different movesets and skill trees (I know Hades has only one character but the different weapon choices completely change the combat styles so I feel like they are similar to different characters).

Differences are of course the art style and the fact that CoM features multiple levels that you select and don't have to replay after you clear them (which I prefer, actually) and there are two ranged characters that play completely differently than anything that Zagreus has.
