I also have violent stick shift on the left analog stick that makes the controller unusable. Pretty heavy use, but I'm not hard on the controller and treat my equipment with the utmost care. I had probably a combined 15 controllers for PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4 and none of them ever drifted.

By the way, the controller was purchased in August, so only about 3 months of use. The good news is that it's still within the 1 year warranty. The bad news is, they don't make it easy to send it back AND you have to pay for shipping. You better have a proof of purchase or you are up Schitt's Creek.

just download ds4windows and connect via Bluetooth, any game that support xbox controller will work

I love this controller but the quality isn't so great. I have two. One has touch pad issue and the other has loose part that rattles when the vibration is intense.

Haven't had a problem with stick drift until this DualSense crap. PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One - not a single issue with any of those, even after years of usage.

Just wanted to say my white controller I got with the ps5 got bad stick drift after a couple of months but the newer purple controller I have now has given me no issues. Hopefully the new ones are more reliable.

Bought three after the PS5 was released. Battery no longer lasts all day like it used to. Get a low battery warning just after 4hrs or less now. Kind of annoying. The third controller i stopped using because the back button/spring broke. Going to attempt to repair. May trade in the two I have with weak batteries soon and replace.

Ps4+ps5 official controllers come with high price tag but have poor quality, the one that came with my ps4 pro lasted for 1 year and then analog drift happened + one of the dpad buttons malfunctioned completely,ended up getting a 3rd party controller as a replacement and it is still running good now.

The official controller that came with my ps5 also last for about 1 year and currently minor analog drift already happened plus poor battery life. I dont game heaviliy or beat up the controllers, dont play fps or fighting games.

It seems like Sony purposely make these controllers not to last so u r bound to spend money for replacement. Sony makes more money selling these controllers than selling the consoles, shady practice:

Lucky. Every system I own that has an analog stick gets drift after about a year. PS4, Nintendo, Oculus. I know how to fix them, but it's annoying.

true. i bought multiple version 2 of the ps5 controllers thinking they fixed the hardware and within half a year it started drifting.

my ps4 launch controller lasted about 5 years in comparison before it started drifting.

I bought my ps5 about a year ago and still not experiencing any drift. I have the 1st version white dualsense but it has the newer green joysticks. Not all ver1 dualsense controllers have the old black joysticks.
If this sale only applies to used controllers then I would avoid it. Every used controller I bought from gamestop has been garbage. Either riddled with connectivity issues or broken sticks and triggers.
