I got this at Costco for $20 more instead. I figured it's worth it because of the free shipping, extra 2% back as an executive member, 90 day return window, and free 2nd year warranty.

Still an incredible bargain for the price. If you take the same money and tried to buy a used MacBook, you won't get near the speed and stability.

There have been major supply chain issues due to COVID and other industry-wide factors.

Compared to competitor machines (with generally lousy battery, screen, keyboard, etc.), many find it to be a very competitive design.
