Milwaukee is offering 2for$20 with $20 off is buying 4 or more so it's 8 tapes for $60 which can't be beat IF you need that many.

For years the price has been $20 for 2. This tape has been the industry standard for decades. Yet do not sleep on the Milwaukee 2 pack for $20. They are really close on quality and the locking mechanism is better.

Watch the Project Farm tape measure tests. If my memory serves me right, this is a good choice. Although I think there's a better choice but I forgot which one.

The magnetic stanley fatmax one started to falter with the locking mechanism within a month of light use.

the actual tape parts get beat up on a jobsite. the tapes can also get kinked during use and once they get a kink, the tape tends to tear and rip at that spot fairly shortly. The paint can also wear out on a tape with use, especially near the ends. A "normal" tape used to last me about a month on a jobsite, the fatmax tapes last me 6-12 months.

The reviews are actually not great on Home Depot's site for the Dewalt tape. I wish these Stanley tapes were magnetic but even so, this is a good price on a reliable tape with a good track record.

Milwaukee is garbage. (Tapes) I have HF ones I got for free that work better.
I know a LOT of Milwaukee fan boys… it's red or nothing with these guys and they still use the fat max.
