They've been 69.95 @ JBL for awhile now. Shipping took 3 weeks.
I bought one to use in the Gator or flatboat. Nice sound. I'm thinking about getting the Xtreme 3 at 229.99. Woot is selling the refurb model for 200.

Tried em both and ended up going with the Charge 5. It's stupid loud for its size and can charge your phone.

It isn't 360. Mono speaker, but for it's size, has a good full sound IMO. Have had one for a few years and it's got the job done for smaller gatherings.

Yep. I've had a 5 for a while and got a 6 last week using one of the Citi Thank You promos at Amazon.

I'd say exterior build quality is about the same between the models, but sound quality is noticeably better with the 6 due to the separate tweeter.

As others have said: if you're really wanting to fill the room, look at the Charge. But this is perfect for a bedroom or shower. I also think it's the ideal model in JBL's line for an actual portable speaker: the Clip doesn't put out enough sound for something like a campsite, but the Charge is too large to fit in a backpack.
