Amazon just delivered my XM4s. The sound quality is superb, but it feels like like the headphones are slowly squeezing my brain out of my skull. They are way too tight, even after I extended the headset all the way. I couldn't wear them for more than 10 minutes. It's been 30 minutes that I've removed them and I can still feel the pressure around my ears.

Most people with small or normal-sized heads will love the XM4s. But I have a big head there is no way that I will be able to use these for an extended period of time.

Any headphone recommendations for someone with a large head like me? Are the qc45s any better?

Yeah I heard about that but I still like the portability. I pulled the trigger on the xm5 open box earlier this week but that hasn't showed up. I'm thinking about comparing them and keeping one.

Also worth noting that the eBay refurbished by secondipity comes with a two year warranty (how long is new warranty from Sony?)

I had been holding out, hoping to pick up a refurbished xm4 for 150ish given that a month ago they had a make an offer option on the xm5 and they were accepting offers of less than 200, but haven't resumed the make an offer option on either the xm4 or xm5 since...

Most credit cards I'm aware of add an additional year of warranty on "new" items like this so that piece is really a wash for me...

Perfectly. Put these into pairing mode. On fire device, settings>controllers & Bluetooth devices>other Bluetooth devices. Pair after Fire picks up signal.
