Would that drain your car's battery?

I have no idea, just asking. I'm old enough to remember if you left the radio on your battery would be dead by morning then would need to push start it and pop the clutch.

As an owner of the original river pro, I'm disappointed they removed ports and dropped the max output to 1000w on this model. I love the lifepo4, but unfortunately I think my original river pro is still better for my use case.

If that's your only use you could get a 1500W inverter for 1/3 the cost and plug it into your car.

I chose the River Pro because of better electronics when camping and better output in case of emergencies. It was the only thing that made it stand out from the competition. I don't live in a van so lifepo4 will never matter, and agree that this model feels like a step backwards.

1500w Inverter can't just plug into your car. It draws over 125amps at full power.
