RIP, no stores have it in stock, only seeing ship-to-store options. Oh well.

How do I determine if this will fit/work in my 2022 Zephyrus G14? The website advertises "up to 2TB"

You might be able to have Best Buy do an in-store OMS order(might be a different name now). They should be able to do the price match, and have it shipped to you or to the store for pickup. You can also try price matching it at Walmart. They have it in stock as well.

Dumb question, would I need one with the heatsink if my Mobo already has the heatsink cover for the nmve drives? Not sure what the clearance is, I assume the bare drive is all I need.
No you don't need additional heatsink if you already got one on the motherboard

Managed to match it online with a different rep! Thanks for the in-store tips though.

Can't buy this. I wish I could, but it wouldn't be worth it. 4tb can only hold 2 cod and war zone. Lmfao

You can definitely use a built in heatsink from the motherboard, that's more than enough. Really these heatsinks are designed for systems with little to no airflow over the add-in storage like a PS5. If your case has decent airflow through the motherboard area or the NVMe slot isn't directly underneath the GPU shroud, you'd be fine without any heatsink for all but the most intense, long-running loads

Storage!!!!

I'd love to stick one of these in a couple of my laptops, but ouch.... That's a lot of money on storage.

Think I'll have to stick with the 2TB I have and the 2TB 980 Pro on the way..

As of 11:23 Eastern, Amazon has these in stock.....

Is this better than the Samsung 980 Pro, performance wise?

Yes, technically it's a little faster. Will you ever notice? Probably not...

I also didn't know the 980 came in a 4tb model.
