To each it's own. Myself, I would rather enjoy savings, save space on the shelf and won't be bothered to go fetch the movie, put the disc in the Blu-Ray player and deal with slow interface and long loading times.

I wonder how many times you can use this. I wouldn't mind having all of the HP collection in 4k but it would take 2 uses to do

Is Fanflix another movie wallet/retailer like Vudu or Amazon that connects to MA or are these codes you redeem at another retailer?

I would rather spend 5 more $ and get physical media so it's high quality and the digital code is not expiring

Digital codes always have an expiration. Most don't actually expire though.

I have HP on Blu-Ray. Is a streaming 4K worth upgrading to for $35?

I have the same question. Can anyone who owns a one of the higher end 4K Players (Panasonic or high end Sony) comment on the comparison of audio and video quality of the download to the 4K Blu Ray?

Harry Potter (as most movies) looks much better on BR disc vs streaming 4K.

Really depends on your hardware. If you have a very nice TV and top of the notch sound system, yes then there is a significant difference such as deeper dark, better color gradient, and wider dynamic range sounds.

Thank you! I think most people who spend the cash on a 4K player these days fall into that category.

Yeah, the first and second movies especially, I noticed zero difference in apparent resolution comparing 1080p disc to 4k disc, it was pretty disappointing. The later movies showed some improvement, but not as much as I see from most movie comparisons. I have to imagine the 4k stream fares even worse than the 4k disc. I can't comment on the HDR aspect of it because when I last watched Harry Potter my TV at the time wasn't all that great with HDR in general.

I personally wouldn't recommend anyone who already owns the 1080p disc to pay for the 4k stream.
