I ordered the Lunar Shift from Amazon this morning and just received it. A couple notes:

1) The "rubberized" grips are not quite like the ones from the older Xbox One "Tactical" controls. These are much more firm, and you might barely notice them. Also, they only cover have of the side hand-grips, since the inner/bottom part of the sides is already textured plastic. I'm OK with all that, but I thought I'd mention it.

2) Remember to perform an update on the controller's firmware using an Xbox (go to "Accessories" via the Settings section). This article has details on updating via PC, XBox, and/or a USB cable: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/he...ontroller.

I have this one and about to return it. The paint around the are the joystick rubs on its wearing off already. Looks like the didn't do a good job with the type of pain that was used.

What if everybody's trying to unload this specific color because like it rubs off on your hands or something dumb like that...
No hate, love my Xbox, but this is the most I've seen a specific new color go on sale by everyone ever. Kinda sus 🧐 lol
I don't know if you've seen a calendar, but it's Slickdeals season. That's why the frontpage is so flooded now.

Thoughts? This controller or the electric blue for a 15yo? Has too many already to keep both.
This one looks cooler to me but it's personal preference.

The blue one is white on the bottom and will look dirty after some use. Plus, most of the 3rd party add-ons, like rechargeable batteries, are black.

I recently purchased the Electric Volt color from Target Black Friday sale for $38.99 before tax and free shipping. So unless you really want this special color, it's not worth the extra $ IMO.

It's a joke. It's never been 1 specific color during Slickdeal season. I've been around since well before the app. Calm down Sandy.
