I ordered the Lunar Shift from Amazon this morning and just received it. A couple notes:

1) The "rubberized" grips are not quite like the ones from the older Xbox One "Tactical" controls. These are much more firm, and you might barely notice them. Also, they only cover have of the side hand-grips, since the inner/bottom part of the sides is already textured plastic. I'm OK with all that, but I thought I'd mention it.

2) Remember to perform an update on the controller's firmware using an Xbox (go to "Accessories" via the Settings section). This article has details on updating via PC, XBox, and/or a USB cable: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/he...ontroller.

I have this one and about to return it. The paint around the are the joystick rubs on its wearing off already. Looks like the didn't do a good job with the type of pain that was used.

they normally release a new color for xbox controllers every holiday, last year they just had game launches so they had the forza and halo themed controllers with it, year b4 that they had came out with the two-tone colors blue+white and i think red+white??

next year you will probably see a new color, feel dumb about wanting a new controller but kinda want another usb-c controller and it looks like this has rubber grips so maybe more comfortable???

if i had to guess next year will have ??? hmm starfield and forza editions, maybe a diablo 4 and/or call of duty variant as well

You do realize it's almost Black Friday right? Many places including Walmart are already doing Black Friday deals. This and a few other controllers appear to be on sale as part of a Black Friday deal, and these controllers are always around this price around this time.

Would this be good for playing Tesla games? I also have PS3, 4, 5 controllers. I have small girlie hands… and I'm thinking about getting a new Xbox S for the Forza series.
