I hear it is a great sub. But the "REL" stamped in so many places is an instant turn-off for me. I don't know why I am so against it.

Gah! Just bought this at $539 thinking I had gotten a deal! Incredible subwoofer, especially for music.

If movies and games are your focus you may be better served with an SVS or Monolith. They go deeper and are more powerful.

If you have high end music-focused speakers and want to increase their low end, this is far and away the cheapest way to do so.

Hard to imagine this sealed sub would blow a SVS ported sub out of the water.
