I imagine the experience would not be very different. The difference is where your audio books are stored. Whether you prefer to save the space on your phone, drain phone battery while listening, etc.

I would argue the experience is better on a phone, at least when you go shopping for a book. Listening it is the same, must admit I almost never use oasis for listening to books since I don't carry it around everywhere and I mostly listen on the commute.
