I still don't get why they call this thing the "Dot". The old flatter thick pancake model seems like a dot.

This is more of Sphere or a Globe.

This bundle has the hue soft white bulb (2700K), not color, not ambience one where you can change temperature, in case anyone is wondering. Just bulb sells for $15 on Amazon.

What happens if a return the bulb ? I can kept the dot for $14.99? I also can I stack the trade in offer ?

You do get money back- not a ton but it's somethin like $6 or $8 which buys down the price even more đź‘Ť

It's worth mentioning that the recent change to prime music is pretty awful. It, and the corporate thought process behind the decision, simulated a rebuke of alexa in my household with a switch to Google. Just something to keep in mind if you plan to use music and don't like playing for prime music unlimited.

Edit: To make it more relevant, I should also mention this resulted in 5 or 6 of these echo dots getting traded in for scrap ($5) and replaced with various Google devices. While my opinion means little, I do think their value is greatly diminished compared to a few months ago.

in previous years the echo dot deal would go on though cyber Monday but specific bundled freebies can end whenever supplies run out.
