Roughly 12 hours ago I opened one of the qualifying accounts with the promo code. This morning I received an email confirming my eligibility of the the $150 promo and confirmation of the details previously listed.

That said, what ARE the penalties? I was going to set up a roth IRA with an existing FA (Edward Jones) but if these guys are going to give me $$ for it, all the better.
I'm not giving investment advice here but if you have a Roth or traditional IRA opened with fidelity you can roll a 401k into it. Make sure you take into account taxes on rollovers and be careful of the "pro rata rule"
